Weekly Photo Challenge: Relic

This week’s challenge is a photo of a relic.  According to the Oxford Dictionary, a relic is an object surviving from an earlier time, especially one of historical or sentimental interest.

These pictures were taken in Jerome, Arizona the town itself is a relic of the copper mining in the 1920s. At its peak, the town was home to 10,000 people, now 444 people call it home.
