The sea lions on
Pier 39 in San Francisco warm themselves under sun while napping all snuggled together. Although they do smell (more than a bit), I could delight in watching them for hours.

In a recent whirlwind weekend getaway to San Francisco, my feet ached after walking over 25 miles racing to see all the sights.
While there, I took two tours one to see the
California Redwoods in Muir Woods and the beautiful town of Sausalito and the second was an urban hike in San Francisco. I mocked the word hike, but it really wasn’t a joke as we climbed and descended hill after hill and discovered secret stairs between buildings leading to secret gardens and picturesque views.
